About the lineup:
Savannah Taylor: is a multi-faceted, Toronto-based artist. Inheriting her love for music from her father, the self-taught singer/songwriter, and actress is refining her craft through integrity and self-awareness. "I make music as a dialogue to myself but release it as an extension to women," she says. Savannah is inspired by vocal and lyrical powerhouses like Nina Simone, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, and Jill Scott.
Jordana of Earth: a self-proclaimed "R&B elf from Toronto," illuminates the darkness with her moody/introspective songs. She just released her debut "10k" EP produced by local legends like Tim North and Jules Lynch and largely mixed and mastered the project on her own.
Imah: Canadian/Senagalese singer and songwriter, Imah, delights audiences with her uptempo afrobeat music. Her upcoming EP features singles, "Looking" and "Togal Fi," newly released across global streaming services. Imah has recently performed at Boogie Montréal, Afrofest Toronto. She’s had a passion for singing since the age of 12 and has recently begun dedicating more time to growing her music career and following her dreams of performing around the world. Her music is inspired by Afrobeats, Afrohouse, Amapiano, RnB, Pop, Hip Hop, and more. Her culture and experiences can be heard in her sound. Being multilingual is something she's very proud of and it shows up in her music, with mixes of French, English, and Wolof. She has a hands-on approach to visuals with talents that include photography, graphic design, videography, fashion design, web design, and more.
Live piano accompaniment by Megan Griffith will sweeten the evening in this intimate 40-capacity setting.
