JUST FOR FUN! is an urban pop-up exhibition that runs at the Thompson Landry Gallery from May 17th to June 3rd, 2018, and features playful new work by Bao and Boudro—the newest additions to our roster—along side the work of veteran Quebec pop artist, Rock Therrien.  

All three artists have been deeply influenced by the characters, narratives and images of popular culture, but have produced three vastly different bodies of work. Demonstrating the multitude of meanings that can manifest from a single point of departure, JUST FOR FUN! invites you to consider the impact that these comical, villainous and heroic characters have had, and continue to have, on contemporary culture.
