Joy Dunlop Band - Contemporary Gaelic music with traditional roots
The Toronto Gaelic Society is pleased to present The Joy Dunlop Band for a concert of contemporary Scottish Gaelic music, singing and step dancing with traditional roots. Visiting from Scotland, the band features Joy Dunlop (Vocals/Step dancing), Sorren MacLean (Guitar/Ensemble), Andrew Dunlop (Piano/Harp), and Lorne MacDougall (Pipes/Whistles). Join the band for a reception following the concert.

Joy Dunlop is a Gaelic singer & Scottish step-dancer from Argyll, Scotland. Joy’s singing career is the result of a life-long fascination with Scotland’s traditional music and has led her all over the world; from major festivals like Celtic Connections and Celtic Colours, to touring the UK, Europe, Canada and New Zealand.
