Feminist Live Reads is teaming up with JFL42 for a staged reading of the "Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion." This eternal classic, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, has a dream team of Toronto comics, improvisers, writers, and actors at the helm, with proceeds going towards Jessie's - The June Callwood Centre for Young Women http://jessiescentre.org, which provides services, support, and interim housing to pregnant women and young mothers in Toronto.

ABOUT FEMINIST LIVE READS
Feminist Live Reads is a regularly staged reading series across Canada. It was created in Toronto in 2015 by director/writer Chandler Levack. The series aims to raise awareness about the disparity of roles available to women in film and television and promote diversity in the industry. Past editions have included staged readings of the "Entourage" pilot, "Reservoir Dogs," "Almost Famous," 'Ocean's Eleven," and "Mean Girls." Past performers include Diana Bang The Interview, Sook-Yin Lee, Kayla Lorette, Mia Kirshner, Finn Wolfhard Stranger Things, and Michelle Mylett Letterkenny.
