The Reel Jewish Experience: Songs from the Jewish Cinema.

Beth Tikvah Synagogue is once again delighted to join Jewish Music Week with this spectacular concert! It’s a stellar cast of performers from our own community and beyond:

the widely acclaimed Cantor, Magda Fishman from B’nai Torah Synagogue in Boca Raton; her son, Yair Keydar, a rising star of the Jewish music scene; actor-singer, Michele Tredger; and of course, Beth Tikvah’s own Hazzan, Tibor Kovari. The libretto is written and narrated by Cantor Eyal Bitton, former Choir Director at Beth Tikvah.

Accompanied by the Beth Tikvah Gala Orchestra, this exciting performance is enhanced with media projection, and features clips from such classic films as Yentl, Fiddler on the Roof, and The Jazz Singer. It also includes selections from the Israeli cinema with talented artists Yehoram Gaon and Noa (Achinoam Nini).

Get ready for another special, uplifting “WOW” experience for Jewish music lovers.

In light of the needs of our beloved Israel, a portion of the proceeds will be directed towards Beth Tikvah’s Special Fundraising Project which is raising funds for the rebuilding of Kibbutz Kissufim and purchase of an Ambucycle. Am Yisrael Chai!
