On Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 6:30 pm; the Jamaican Canadian Association (JCA) presents, -You Control the Future - our 12th Annual Scholarship Awards Dinner and Dance. Come and celebrate in awarding financial assistance to outstanding students from the Caribbean/African community, currently pursuing post-secondary studies in Ontario Universities/Colleges. This year approximately 40 recipients will receive close to $50,000 which will result in almost $350,000 awarded since the inception of the program.

This evening of elegance will feature keynote speaker, Rathika Sitsabaiesan, Member of Parliament for Scarborough, Rouge Valley. Attendees will be entertained by the sounds of DJ Funky at the JCA Centre, 995 Arrow Road in Toronto. Tickets are currently available for purchase at the JCA, $50 for adults and $25 for children.
