International Women's Day: Goddess Worship
This International Women's Day, Toronto based performers Belle Jumelles, Dainty Smith and Ivory have combined the forces of their passion, intersectional feminism and art to produce a show celebrating women.
International Women's Day: Goddess Worship will be a night to celebrate and examine the complex narratives of what it means to be a woman navigating our world today. This will be a night to celebrate and honour womanhood, the divine feminine, and the power that resides within each of us as a woman.
This show will feature a carefully curated line up of brilliant, political, creative storytellers, performers and artists using their voices and their art to tell the stories they carry in their hearts and bodies. Our collective will be unified in the vision of sharing lived experiences, recognizing our similarities and respecting our differences. Through the power of art, we will be finding healing, solidarity and love for ourselves and each other.
We invite you come and join us in witnessing these beautiful artists sharing their work and artistry.
