On Saturday November 26th from 10am to 3pm, Teach For Canada is hosting a professional development event for teachers interested in teaching in the north. During this hands-on workshop, teachers will learn more about Indigenous history in Canada through the KAIROS Blanket Exercise, gain principals of how to incorporate First Nations culture and history into lesson plans, and receive resources to support further learning and development. The Teach For Canada team will also present information on our application process, Summer Enrichment Program, and support programs.
