Get ready to make your very own one-of-a-kind holiday ornament and greeting card during this creative workshop!

 

Curious about printmaking? Looking for a place to get started? Linocut, also known as lino printing or linoleum art, is a variant of woodcut in which a design is carved into a sheet of linoleum before being transferred onto another surface.

Learn all about this exciting printmaking technique by making custom holiday cards and ornaments. This linocut workshop will introduce learners to the process of carving a design into linoleum, rolling ink, and transferring the design onto paper or wood.

This workshop is a perfect creative holiday art activity for a family outing, date-night, or night out with friends. Create a new holiday tradition this year with printmaking!

Everyone will have an opportunity to make their own one-of-a-kind holiday ornament and greeting card.

Please dress for mess.

No experience necessary. All materials provided (including aprons!). This workshop session includes two 5 x 7 inch blank greeting cards, as well as one 3-5 inch live-edge wood ornament. Participants may also take their carved linoleum home for use in future projects.
