Have you always wanted to give Swing Dancing a try but you just were not sure what classes to take or what it is even about? Well then join us on December 19th at the Dovercourt Dance House for a night of taster classes AND a fun social dance after.

No partner required. Dance any role! Pay what you can for the night.

SCHEDULE:

==> Lindy Hop Beginner Lesson (the original swing dance from the 1930s & 1940s) 6:30pm – 7:00pm

==> Balboa Beginner Lesson (Balboa is an 8-count swing dance that is done in closed position) 7:00pm – 7:30pm

==> Collegiate Shag Beginner Lesson (a partner dance done primarily to uptempo swing and pre-swing jazz music). 7:30pm – 8:00pm

==> Rockabilly Jive Beginner Lesson (partner dance done to 1950s / Rockabilly music). 8:00pm – 8:30pm

==> Swing Dance Party: 8:30pm – 10:30pm
