As discussed at NOW Mag's Community Panel Discussion on Toronto's Vanishing Venues, Toronto is facing a major crisis with music venues and events around the city, especially in the DIY scene.

We're happy to announce that HIGH POWER is going strong, and we'll be creating space at 1161 Dundas St W on Sat March 25th, an otherwise unoccupied location at Dundas and Ossington.

What does that mean?

-painting the walls blue with our jeans

-DJs spinning the music no one else will play for you

-people who know how to move when they play that music

-cheap drinx

-gender neutral washrooms

-smart people acting foolish

-foolish people getting learned
