Harvest Wednesdays Tapas Cocktail Party

Tapas is a Spanish culinary tradition that involves gathering with friends and family over small savoury bites, wine and cocktails. For this special installment, we’re taking our Harvest Wednesday culinary series to the Cafe to showcase tapas-inspired dishes incorporating local producers and ingredients picked just the day before from Chick-a-biddy farms.

This casual prix fixe will guide you through a series of small bite courses prepared by Chef Katie Venables Llyod with special drinks to match!

In the spirit of gathering over food, we have invited FoodShare, a local non-profit organization that works with communities and schools to deliver healthy food and food education to speak at the gathering.

About Harvest Wednesdays

From August 24 to October 12, we invite you to connect with Ontario’s growing season through a Harvest Table Dinner in the Ballroom or a Sip and Savour in the Gallery (featuring tastings from 15+ local producers!) Check out all the dates here!

What is Community Shared Agriculture (C.S.A.)

Community Shared Agriculture allows city residents to have direct access to high quality, fresh produce grown locally by regional farmers. When you become a member of a CSA, you're purchasing a “share” of vegetables from a regional farmer. It is a relationship of shared bounty and shared risk.
