Habitat for Humanity GTA’s unique Women Build event celebrates and harnesses the unstoppable power of women to help transform a community and make a family’s dream of homeownership come true. Women Build provides an opportunity to take action and help build, fundraise and advocate for decent, affordable housing for everyone.

Participants fundraise a minimum of $500 through their friends and family network and participate in one or several exclusive, women-only build days. Along the way, they learn how to wield a buzz saw or hammer like a pro, meet other fantastic women who want to make a difference in their community and, most importantly, change lives forever.

This year, we'll be kicking off the first block of Habitat GTA's biggest homebuilding project - 50 stacked townhomes. So bring your enthusiasm, your unmatched fundraising abilities and some elbow grease, and let's show the community what the power of 1,000 women looks like!
