Tarafi is a band paying tribute to the original rebetiko from the pre-WWII era. Rebetiko is the music of predominantly the urban lower and working-class population of early 20th century Greece. The band consists of George Sountoulidis (vocals, baglama), Dimitri Petsalakis (baglama, vocals), Sofia Smyrnioudi (accordion, vocals), George Vasileiou (guitar, vocals), Petros Pechlivanoglou (bouzouki).
