Gratitude/Miracle of Life - Solo Painting Exhibition by Yaryna Yuryk
Gratitude/Miracle of Life is a solo painting exhibition by the Honored Artist of Ukraine, Yaryna Yuryk. This exhibition is inspired by the energy of the universal law of gratitude and Honor to Canada Day.
Yaryna believes that art is a positive-energy system that heals and uplifts. She creates ethereal and sonorous strokes on canvas and paper, capturing elusive, amorphous moments and inviting viewers to reflect on self-healing. Through her art, Yaryna hopes to expand the audience's awareness that human life is short and it is essential to create moments of beauty within the flow of life, with gratefulness and love.

As a part of our series about “5 Things I Wish Someone Told Me When I First Became An Artist” I had the pleasure of interviewing Ukrainian artist, Yaryna Yuryk.
The History of Art called her the founder of the modern cordocentric worldview of watercolor painting in Ukraine.
Yaryna Yuryk is not a newcomer to cultural diplomacy and Ukraine’s presentation of the world. Her accolades include winning international competitions while presenting otherworks in Europe, Asia, Latin America and the USA.
Having mastered her unique art style, Yaryna has penetrated into deep existential layers of Ukrainianian identity and now she initiates acrocentric ideological in contemporary watercolor painting in Ukraine, introducing us to the global and cultural process through her work.
Selection committees have chosen her works for exhibits in many countries around the world, where she has won top honors in numerous international painting competitions. For the first time in the history of Ukraine, her works were elected by the jury of the Design and Watercolor Salon (2017–2018) where she exhibited at the Grand Palais National Museum in Paris, and the Autumn Salon of Latin America (2016) in São Paulo, Brazil. Yaryna exhibited at the largest art exhibition in the world, Art expo New York and during Miami Art Week, among others. Personal exhibitions were exhibited in the National Museum of Ukraine, Taras
Shevchenko National Museum in Kyiv, Lviv National Art Gallery among the nation’s other galleries. Her works are kept in private and museum collections throughout Ukraine and across the world. Yaryna also received the award of the President of Ukraine, with the title of Honored artist of Ukraine (2017). Yaryna currently lives in Canada and is exploring topics related to diversity, memory, war, and art therapy.
