Girls/Museum
From New York-based filmmaker Shelly Silver comes an insightful tour of the Museum der bildenden Künste Leipzig, Germany, as seen through the eyes of young girls age seven to 19. Moving from artwork to artwork, century to century, as these girls tell us what they see, the film makes visible how role models have changed over time − and where art comes into it.
Co-presented by the Goethe-Institut, this film will run on a continuous loop in AGO's Jackman Hall. No advance tickets are required. Screening is included in AGO's General Admission.
