Korean born, Toronto-based DJ/Producer Korea Town Acid is a classically trained pianist evolved to free-form beat manipulator, creates swinging dance rhythms and moody bangers that meld disassembled minimalism, free jazz and the more avant-garde corners of techno. She brings a fresh perspective, melding abstract rhythms and textures with emotional vibes. Her DJ sets are eclectic, drawing from left-filed House and Techno and Experimental IDM, and her substantial energy has taken her globally world-wide, from the RBMA Bass Camp, to Boiler Room, MUTEK Montreal and various clubs in Europe and her hometown of Seoul.

Toronto’s City Dance Corporation will be dishing out raw off-the-cuff moments with his improvised live techno. By relying on pure instincts from the body, these vulnerable live performances bind dance music cliches with utter chaos. Expect a construction and destruction of tracks fashioned in the present moment and then tossed into the heat of the night.

Colin Sims AKA Wiretapping has a knack for pairing off kilter stuttering grooves with moody trance melodies. 2019 saw him feature alongside Ciel on her solo EP on Ghostly International’s Spectral Sound label. He’ll be showcasing his buoyant sounds and deconstructed percussion with a live set that will surely set a heady tone for the rest of the night.
