Forbidden Tikka Masala is a coming-of-(old-)age comedy that will play at the T.O. Short Film Festival on March 13th. Canadian Screen Awards nominated Balinder Johal (Beeba Boys, Heaven on Earth) stars as Gayatri, a religiously vegetarian Indian woman who accidentally eats chicken at her retirement party. Her life is thrown into chaos when she can't get the succulent taste out of her mind, setting her off on an unexpected adventure. Along the way, Gayatri meets new friends and discovers a different take on life.
