Food Truck’N Friday adds live entertainment, fresh produce and more to lineup

Etobicoke’s favourite bi-weekly curbside event caps off month of April with live Venezuelan dance performances

TORONTO - After a hugely successful launch to the 2016 season on April 1st, Food Truck’N Friday – Etobicoke’s premier food truck event – is capping off the month of April with a jam-packed lineup that includes live dance performances, free giveaways, balloon art and a new and exciting lineup of Toronto’s top food trucks.

Scheduled to perform on April 29th and presented by The Arepa Republic food truck is Sentir Venezuela Dance Group, who’ll commemorate Labour Day Venezuela (a public holiday in Venezuela taking place on May 1) with two performances at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Families and foodies can also expect fun balloon creations by local balloon artist Mr. Twister, fresh produce for sale from Mobile Farm Fresh, as well as all-inclusive fitness and MMA membership giveaways, courtesy of Xtreme Couture gym.

Community partner Barbeque Pro, who specializes in barbeque cleaning services, will once again be providing space heaters to help combat the unpredictable spring weather. Also, Film & Event Solutions, a one-stop shop in Etobicoke for location support equipment rentals, will be providing tables and chairs so that guests can dine comfortably.

“Thanks to our fans and valued community partners, Food Truck’N Friday gets bigger and better each week,” said Jason Bellissimo, Director of Sales & Marketing of J.B. Innovative Solutions Inc., and founder of Food Truck’N Friday. “We’re so excited to welcome Sentir Venezuela Dance Group to our April 29th lineup – it’s just another fun element that will not only enhance the Food Truck’N Friday experience, but also highlight Etobicoke’s incredible diversity.”

Participating food trucks on April 29th include: Wickedly Sinful, Jerk Brothers, Shopsy’s Food Truck, La Novela, Heirloom Food Truck, The Arepa Republic, Chimney Stax, and Bake Three Fifty, which will be making its Food Truck’N Friday debut.
