Come join us for a memorable night as we launch the Scadding Court Commercial Kitchen on Fish Friday. Scadding Court has developed a fully equipped commercial kitchen that is affordable and accessible through expanded hours and use. Housed in a 45 foot shipping container, the Scadding Court Commercial Kitchen has been designed to support start-up micro-entrepreneurs, social enterprises, and existing caterers and Chefs. With affordable rent at $10-$15 an hour, the commercial kitchen can support individuals to start and/or scale their business with this accessible structure. The commercial kitchen is located outside Scadding Court which makes it accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Foodies on Foot's own Chef Damian Harrington will be kicking off operations in the commercial kitchen, with a Foodies on Foot pop-up. Chef Damian will be preparing his take on “Fish & Chips”, featuring Grilled Rainbow Trout Filet, Fried Yukon Gold & Arugula Potato Salad, Malt Vinegar, Sea Salt, Slaw. The pop-up will feature several artisan food makers and social enterprise caterers, curated by Foodies on Foot and Scadding Court Community Centre. Some of the confirmed participants include Lola’s Cloud, No. 7 Hot Sauce, All Mine Caramel, Manning Canning, Crazy Corn, and Crown & Anchor Food. Come get your dinner on and support all of the tasty pop-ups at the market.
