February 19 is free—for everyone!

In celebration of Family Day, on Monday, February 19* the entire Museum—including all exhibitions—will be free for everyone.

Zuul

Star of ROM’s blockbuster 2018 exhibition, Zuul crurivastator—the gnarly-faced, armoured dinosaur with a sledgehammer-like tail—is back after a tour of Japan. Zuul is one of the most complete ankylosaur skeletons ever found and is on display in its full form for the first time!

Activities are all ages and run 11 am – 4 pm, unless otherwise noted below.

Currelly Gallery

Sing, dance, and jam about Earth—and how to take care of it—with Chris McKhool, the award-winning children’s entertainer. (Performance times: 12:00, 1:15, and 2:30 pm)

Meet Sierra: a lifelike animatronic Utahraptor, a species that roamed North America during the Cretaceous Period. (Performance times: 1:45 and 3:00 pm)

Learn the Anishinaabemowin names of animals featured in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. (Schad Gallery on February 17)

Earth Rangers Studio

Scavenger Hunt: Step into the shoes of a wildlife photographer, Polaroid camera in hand, shooting specimens that live in coral reefs.

Makerspace: BASF Kids' Lab

Interactive Workshop: Discover the world of chemistry through fun experiments. Learn about polymers, a special kind of substance, and make your very own slime!
