Immerse yourself in music by Black composers this Family Day at Todmorden Mills!

Celebrate Black History Month and enjoy a musical performance by the Nathaniel Dett Chorale led by choral leader Brainerd Blyden-Taylor. Named after the Black-Canadian composer and musician, Nathaniel Dett, the chorale group will be performing all styles of Afrocentric music, including classical, spiritual, gospel, jazz, folk and blues.

Visitors will have the opportunity to join in on the singing, and engage in thoughtful conversations with the chorale.
