F8, a collective of Toronto photographers, holds its nineteenth exhibition, Sum of Parts. Artists Maureen Littlewood, Jude Marion, Natalia Shields, Felicity Somerset, Rod Trider, John Wallace, and F8 guest photographers Selby Shanly and David Williams present unique interpretations of the theme Sum of Parts. Eight photographers each deconstruct, then reconstruct bold and subtle parts to greater wholeness - be it tantalizing glimpses of manikins, bold and colourful elements of skyscrapers under construction, elegiac details from New Brunswick in Fall, fascinating components of rusting cars and historic lighthouses, or evocative fragments of moments of family life or the passing parade on the streets of Havana.
