Extraordinary Earth Pop-Up at Arcadia Earth

On June 5, art-for-action organization Students Rebuild joined world-renowned sustainability artist Benjamin Von Wong and Arcadia Earth to unveil the Extraordinary Earth Pop-Up at Arcadia Earth featuring art created by Von Wong and students worldwide – art that has generated $1.3 million so far in donations to help solve the global climate crisis.

Lasting through June 30, Toronto residents can explore Benjamin Von Wong’s famous Giant Plastic Tap sculpture, displayed most recently in Ottawa for the fourth session of the United Nations Environment Programme’s plastic pollution talks. His sculpture will be featured alongside a replicated sculpture created by Toronto-based education influencer Monsieur Steve’s second-grade classroom. The exhibit also features climate-themed art made over the last school year by young artists around the world through Students Rebuild. For each work of art submitted to Students Rebuild this last year, the program donated funding to organizations working full-time to address climate issues and their impact on communities.
