Exploring Mindfulness for Stress Relief: A Movement & Meditation Workshp

This 90 minute workshop will include a gentle yoga practice designed to prepare your body for meditation (including a scented savasana massage), followed by guided mindfulness meditation, time for reflection, journaling and discussion.

We will explore how mindfulness techniques and breath work can help us to deal with negative stress in our lives. Please bring a pen and a journal. This workshop is suitable for anyone wishing to explore or deepen this beautiful practice.

The session will be led by Kathy Parsons, meditation guide, yoga teacher and ‘type-A in recovery’. Kathy has been practicing and studying mindfulness techniques for over 10 years and believes that there is a meditation practice for everyone. She encourages students, friends and family to experiment with different methods to find the right fit and connection.
