Massachusetts native Eric Lu was first prize winner at the 2018 Leeds International Piano Competition. He then signed an exclusive contract with Warner Classics, was a BBC New Generation Artist, and received a 2021 Avery Fisher Career Grant. In 2022, Eric made his debuts with Chicago (Muti), London (Alsop), and Boston (Lee) Symphony Orchestras, and recitals at Cologne Philharmonie, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Elbphilharmonie, and Wigmore Hall.

In 2020, his first disc featuring Chopin 24 Preludes, and Schumann’s Geistervariationen was a BBC Music Magazine ‘Instrumental Record of the Year’. Eric’s winning live performances of Beethoven and Chopin with The Hallé (Gardner) was also released. He will dazzle with Schubert, Mendelssohn, and more.
