Exploring the intersection of art, technology and design

Enter the Void, a new event series produced by FILMARTIST, aims to explore the intersection of art, technology and design, fostering conversations around the power of these three disciplines to introduce new concepts, challenge old ideas and impact a variety of analogue and digital media.

As technology transforms the ways in which artists create, collaboration across old and new media is bringing computer-generated art into the physical world – and vice versa. Through a series of collaborative, mixed media installations, Enter the Void seeks to blur the line between tangible and intangible, digital and analogue, old and new, forging a connection between tactile artwork and its digital counterpart.

On Friday, Nov. 30, Enter the Void will transform a space in east-end Toronto into an interactive showcase for one night only. Vol. 1 will feature FILMARTIST's projection mapping, animation and graphic design in collaboration with six talented young Japanese artists working in textiles, fashion, music, filmmaking and photography.
