In the crowded world of holiday messiahs only one is electric! A bona fide Toronto holiday favourite, Electric Messiah reimagines George Frideric Handel’s great masterpiece with inspirations from jazz, gospel, blues, hip hop and of course, classical.

This year’s choral cast features Jonathan MacArthur, back for his second electric season, vocalist Aviva Chernick, and jazz-singer, baritone Alex Samaras. Adam Scime, music director, with Christopher Bagan, analog and electric harpsichord, Jeff McLeod, electric organ, Joel Schwartz, Electric Guitar, SlowPitchSound, Turntablist and resident DJ, and Lybido, dancer.
