Hometown Habitat Documentary Screening

Saturday, April 21, 2018

4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Toronto Botanical Garden and North American Native Plant Society are thrilled to bring you this visually-stunning documentary that advocates for a garden revolution using native plants.

This Earth Day: Save Pollinators. Save Water. Save the Earth. Build an army of Habitat Heroes.

This film tells the inspiring stories of 7 hometown habitat heroes. Featuring interviews with passionate experts and activists, and narrated by renowned entomologist Douglas Tallamy, the film challenges the notion that humans are here and nature is someplace else.

Producer/director Catherine Zimmerman shares the success stories and works in-progress that re-awaken and re-define our relationship with nature.

The message: All of us have the power to support habitat for wildlife and bring natural beauty to our patch of the earth.

The goal: Build a new army of habitat heroes!
