A long-term collaboration between violinist William Knuth and classical guitarist Adam Levin, Duo Sonidos is at the vanguard of the guitar chamber music world. They formed in 2006 at New England Conservatory and are dedicated to building the violin/guitar repertoire through fresh arrangements and newly composed works. Their 2019 CD release, Wild Dance (Naxos), debuted at #3 on the classical charts. The duo has performed throughout the United States, in Europe and South America. In 2010, they won first prize at the Luys Milan International Chamber Music Competition in Valencia, Spain.

Their eclectic duo repertoire includes Brazilian (Assad, Pereira), American (Foss, Gershwin), and Spanish (Morales-Caso, Muñiz) composers.
