Featuring artists, writers and collectors who remain steadfastly loyal to the typewriter, including Tom Hanks, John Mayer, David McCullough, Martin Howard and Sam Shepard, California Typewriter questions our need for speed and convenience, and just who is serving whom—human or machine.
