DIY Superhero Lab
BAM! POW! ZAP! Everyone knows Wonder Woman, Spiderman and Captain America but superheroes can come in all shapes and sizes. What does it take to be a superhero today?
Writers aged 8-12 can invent their own superheroes with writer-theatre artist Coleen McPherson and author-illustrator Evan Munday at Small Print Toronto’s latest workshop, DIY Superhero Lab. The session will focus on the one thing that superheroes from The Avengers to The X-Men have in common: an incredible story.
The inaugural DIY Superhero Lab takes place on Saturday, October 7, between 1-4pm at Lillian Smith Library (239 College - at Spadina). FREE with RSVP.
Space is Limited. Register Early, at www.smallprinttoronto.org.
Grown-up caregivers are welcome to sit in, as long as they behave themselves.
