Put the tangy sizzle in your summer at the eighth annual Thrill of the Grill: Father’s Day Feast, June 17 from noon to 4 p.m. The Danforth will be closed to traffic as the chefs of seven of its celebrated businesses are turning up the heat to claim Toronto’s best grilled dish. Meet hosts celebrity chef Lynn Crawford and style guru Tommy Smythe. This year will also feature Grilling 101 seminars, a cocktail competition and VIP treatment for one lucky dad/father figure in our King of the Grill contest. Proceeds will benefit kidney cancer research at the Odette Cancer Centre, Sunnybrook hospital.
