Cyrus Sutton: An Evening of Short Films, Travel, and Surfing
Guayaki Yerba Mate and Surf the Greats have the pleasure to bring surfer & filmmaker Cyrus Sutton to Toronto for an evening of short films, travel and surfing.
Cyrus creates social and environmental impact films with a sense of adventure. He’s been working in commercial production and directing documentary films for fifteen years since his award-winning surf film Riding Waves in 2003. Cyrus is the founder and creative director of Korduroy—a website exploring sustainability and creativity in the outdoors. In the years since, he has helped empower other creative outdoorsmen and women by providing a platform where they can promote their work. A dedicated surfer and traveler, Cyrus has traded long hours in front of the computer for a more nomadic lifestyle, relying on his jailbroken phone and complimentary wifi to get his work done remotely.
This is a free event and everyone is welcome. There will be refreshments by Guayaki Yerba Mate and Muskoka Brewery. RSVP now and join us at the shop as we welcome Cyrus to our Great Lakes surf community.
