Workflow Presents: A solo exhibition of photographs by Chinelo organized by The Drake Hotel and curated by Kris Lodu

Toronto based photographer, Chinelo Yaisn has been honing her skills in event photography in a form of photo journaling the Toronto party culture from the past couple of years. Originally a full-time student studying for her undergraduate in Social Science and Criminal Justice, Chinelo succesfully made strades in photography with her love for music genres of all kinds and her curitosity to the chemistry of such lively nights put together by Dj’s and many community collectives, bringing about a perfect visual depiction of these many nights that happen deep in the city.

Chinelo’s evolution into event photography allowed her to seek other ways to expand her skills and share her work with the many faces and names that she may meet and never see again from such events. Putting together her first physical collection of her best work from 2022, Chinelo has introduced, “the Metronome of Toronto”.

A collection of selected photos from various party scenes that transpired in 2022 that vividly capture themany places and faces, as well as the spontaneous and electrifying moments of from the past year.

Sharing some personal creative works that she’s put together to add to the story of a typical night out in Toronto, Chinelo intends to have the viewers feel like they’re reminiscing of some of their past favourite nights out in Toronto.
