Cheers, Tears & Fears: Queers Read from Our Past
Cheers, Tears & Fears: Queers Read from Our Past
Wednesday, March 28th from 8pm-10pm
Cover: $10, in support of Toronto People With AIDS Foundation PWA. Funds go directly to this year's 20th PWA's Friends For Life Bike Rally. While this is a fundraiser for PWA, no one will be turned away from lack of funds. Readers are free.
A diary entry confessing your celebrity crush that you couldn't tell your friends about. That love letter to a summer camp bunk-mate that you never sent. A poem that clearly identified what your 'root' was. Song lyrics about how you wanted to secretly kiss your best friend, but fear they wouldn't feel the same way. It's time to dig up your literary treasures from the past, put on a brave face, and share your favourite written creations from when you were young in front of a crowd of supportive, encouraging humans.
