Carnival Bar is a unique pop-up bar event in the city for the month of June only.

It’s a carnival fair themed bar with themed cocktails, games, performers, circus decor, cotton candy and free popcorn. Kind of like the Ex for adults. It’s being held in an industrial space on Geary, an old auto mechanics shop across from Parallel/Greater Good and beside Paradise Grapevine. One of the games featured is called Doom Ball, a handmade arcade game imitating Ice Cold Beer from artist David Abraham. Some of the cocktails are “Caramel-Corn Bourbon”, “Cotton Candy Champagne” and wait for it, a ‘Hot Dog Martini’ (it’s a fun spin on a dirty martini if it became friends with a pickle back). The space has some great programming for the month. On Sundays there are performance acts such as magicians. Every Thursday there is an in house tarot card oracle.
