Canada's Wonderland is a 330-acre (130 ha) theme park located in Vaughan, Ontario, a suburb approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) north of Downtown Toronto. Opened in 1981 by the Taft Broadcasting Company and The Great-West Life Assurance Company as the first major theme park in Canada, it remains the country's largest.

The park, has been the most visited seasonal amusement park in NorthAmerica for several consecutive years. With sixteen roller coasters, Canada's Wonderland is ranked third in the world by number of roller coasters, after Six Flags Magic Mountain (19 coasters) and Cedar Point (17 coasters).

What is new for this year?

Lumberjack - will take guests for a thrilling ride on two swinging axe pendulums, propelling them into

the sky with their feet dangling through 360 degree loops. With inversions reaching up to 75 feet (22m)

high, Lumberjack will give riders the sensation of an inverted coaster loop!

Flying Canoes - an interactive family ride that will allow riders to control their journey of flight in twoperson

canoes.

If you are travelling from downtown, take the Yellow (Yonge-University line) to Vaughan Metropolitan Centre and than take bus number 20 from Smartcentres Place Bus Terminal to Jane St / Springside Rd.

You can drive to Canada's Wonderland, but you will have to pay $22 parking fee.
