Build-A-Bear Workshop hosts children's Wish Foundation as part of national campaign to make wishes come true

Guests invited to participate in bear-making event for

Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada

Who: Build-A-Bear Workshop® and the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada are teaming up this Valentine’s Day season to put smiles on the faces of children facing life-threatening medical conditions through a national campaign, “A Million Hearts, A Million Wishes, A Million Ways to Help.”

What: The first 50 Build-A-Bear Workshop Guests are invited to make a Stuffed with Hugs bear for free to be donated to the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada and help put a smile on the faces of other local children facing life-threatening medical conditions.

When: Saturday, February 1, 2014

Beginning at 10:00 a.m

Where: Build-A-Bear Workshop – Vaughan Mills

Entry #2 (Located by the Food Court)

Media Photo Opp: Several local Children’s Wish Foundation children and their families will visit Build-A-Bear Workshop from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. to make bears that represent their wishes that came true. These children will forget worries, doctors and treatments while making their own furry friends.

Why: Build-A-Bear Workshop is proud to help the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. From now until March 31, 2014, Canadian locations will be offering special purple satin hearts available for $1 to support the Foundation.
