Breakthroughs is the only festival in Canada devoted exclusively to short films by emerging women directors.
For the past 8 years, BREAKTHROUGHS FILM FESTIVAL has been working towards its vision of an industry that recognizes and effectively represents women filmmakers.
This year's festival will feature 23 outstanding short films from around the world. Among them are 8 Toronto-based filmmakers.
