16 years after its premiere, Boosie Fade Film Club is proud to present Charles Stone III’s 2002 film, PAID IN FULL, on 35mm, at the Bell TIFF Lightbox on Thursday, December 13th at 9:00.

An off-shoot of the popular hip-hop and R&B discussion community, Boosie Fade: The Group, Boosie Fade Film Club is an online community dedicated to the appreciation and discussion of film and television. This marks Boosie Fade Film Club's fourth event with TIFF.

Ace (Wood Harris) and Mitch (Mekhi Phifer) are best friends who have grown up together in 1980s Harlem. Ace works at a dry cleaner’s, barely scraping by, while Mitch’s foray into the drug trade gives him the high life. When Mitch gets locked up, Ace gets an opportunity to enter the drug trade himself, yielding him great success. This prosperity is threatened, however, when Mitch comes home from jail with a new acquaintance, Rico (Cam’ron), whose violent temper and flashy lifestyle clash with Ace’s mild temperament. Loosely based on the lives of real Harlem street legends, Paid in Full was produced by Roc-A-Fella Records founders Jay-Z and Dame Dash, and features appearances from rappers Noreaga, Wes Williams (Maestro Fresh Wes), and Doug E. Fresh.

Following the film, there will be an after-party with drinks and music.
