Black Women Connect! Book Club is a Toronto-based book club that focuses on celebrating Black Literature, Sisterhood and the love of reading. Our mission is to bring Black Women together who love to read fiction and nonfiction books written by writers of African descent for meaningful conversations, connections and socialization.

Each month we choose a book and use it as the foundation to discuss our own lives as black women – we, read, discuss, listen, reflect, renew, and yes, drink & eat! BWC purpose is to inform, empower, inspire, and enrich each member's life through the privilege of reading and connecting with each other.

We are currently reading “Go Tell It On The Mountain” by James Baldwin. Our next meeting is January 26th, 2018. 7-9 PM. Email bwcbookclub@outlook.com to join or with any questions. No drop-ins allowed.
