BEST IN SHOW at Christie Pits Film Festival
On Sundays from June 25 through August 20, Christie Pits Film Festival will present a series called EYES ON THE PRIZE, films about competition and beating the odds
CPFF’s Eyes on the Prize programme simply had to include the competition and chaos of Christopher Guest’s hilarious, pitch-perfect satire BEST IN SHOW! Far from being a mean-spirited mockery, the film reflects a genuine appreciation and affection for the insular world of dog shows and the quirky characters (and pets) that inhabit it. To give the Best in Show participants some admirable competition, we’ve chosen three similarly quirky shorts: BOOTWMN, POTTERY WARS and SINK OR SWIM.
