BEER 101
Are you Craft Beer Curious?
You see the beers with cute names and interesting labels overflowing at the LCBO, and you’ve noticed it’s been appearing on tap at all your favourite locals, but you’re still a little unsure.
There’s a lot of terminology getting thrown around like ‘dry hopped sour’ or ‘wild farmhouse’. You never thought you’d ever be asking yourself what’s the difference between Imperial and Double, or Porter vs. Stout? Or lager vs. ale, for that matter? It can all feel a little intimidating, confusing and downright terrifying!! Don’t worry… we gotcha… we’re here to help with…beer school! Beer 101, to be precise!
Join us in the brewery for this 4 week class, as we tackle all corners of the craft beer world especially at the beginner level. We’ll talk about beer styles, and beer history, and sample all kinds of beer, and you’ll leave with the tools required to know your way around all the saisons, wheats, ales, and IPAs out there! Before you know it, you’ll be be-dazzling your friends with tidbits like ‘I love the late hop addition in this brew'!
