Finnish accordionist Matti Pulkki brings his hour-long solo recital to Toronto. The concert program consists of contemporary solo pieces from around the world. The title of the concert is derived from a new large-scale composition by George Katehis commissioned by the American Accordionists’ Association. This performance at Gallery 345 will be the Canadian premiere of the piece. The rest of the program features music from composers such as Magnus Lindberg, Jesús Torres, Keiko Harada and Sampo Haapamäki.
