Taverna is a band from Minas Gerais, Brazil formed in 2013 by Mariana Roque (Vocals, Celtic Harp and Wooden Spoons), Rômulo Salobreña (Viola, Violin and Hurdy Gurdy), Rafael Salobreña (Bodhrán and Percussions), Gustavo Fofão (Acustic Guitar) and João Gabriel (Uillean Pipes, Mandolin, Banjo, Irish Whistle and Flute).

The band transports the crowd through time bringing to reality an epic fantasy folk universe of they´re stories.

In they´re compositions there is a strong influence of Celtic and medieval European music, with the weight of metal and rock in they´re traditional and old instruments without leaving behind they're roots in the Brazilian music and rhythms
