With the holiday season around the corner, one restaurant is calling on Torontonians to unplug for an evening and be reminded of the true spirit of Christmas. Ricarda’s Restaurant invites family, friends and media in the community to participate in the inaugural Atrium Lights event held in the heart of the Entertainment District at 134 Peter Street, which will feature the city’s first ever upside down suspended Christmas tree.

The event will showcase the ceremonious lighting of a custom 26-foot inverted Christmas tree floating in the 70-foot high Atrium of QRC West. Christmas carollers, handbell ringers, a 50-person choir and Santa Claus will also bring festive cheer to an audience of 500 expected guests. Complimentary treats such as Christmas gingerbread cookies and mulled wine will also be served from the Ricarda’s kitchen.
