Join us for Art with Potential, an Art Competition and Silent Auction Event hosted by Raising the Roof!

This fantastic event brings together art, auction, live music and delicious food for an evening of enjoyment in support of long-term solutions to homelessness.

Divided into 3 rounds of twenty-minute competition, youth artists age 18-26 will compete for a cash prize while guests ‘catch the action’ live.

Art with Potential provides a great opportunity for youth artists to build their portfolio of work and receive compensation. At Raising the Roof, we know that employment is a critical success factor for at-risk and homeless youth. By supporting youth artists with an opportunity to showcase their talents and passion, we can pave the way for their brighter future.

A variety of getaways, experiences and desired items will be included in the event’s silent auction. Additionally, all completed pieces from the evening’s competing artists will be featured.

The evening will be MC’d by Mark Peacock, a Toronto-based Television Story Writer who has written for multiple national programs, including Canada`s Next Top Model and Chopped Canada.

Music for the evening comes courtesy of Superfly Entertainment, with an on-site DJ offering a variety of beats for attendees to tap their toes to.

Refreshments will also be provided, including a variety of hors d’ouevres, delicious desserts, wine and beer.

Art with Potential takes place on Thursday October 23rd, 2014 at 6:00 PM (doors at 5:30).

The event is hosted at Ada Slaight Hall in Artstacape's Daniels Spectrum, Toronto.
