Art & Memory Exhibit

The Cultural committee of the Armenian Genocide Centennial Committee of Canada will be holding an art exhibition called ‘Art & Memory’ at the Arta Gallery in the Distillery District.

The aim of the Art & Memory Exhibition is to showcase over thirty outstanding Canadian-Armenian visual artists’ interpretation of the Armenian Genocide and its aftermath to the present day. This will serve to spread knowledge and raise awareness of the horrors of the Armenian Genocide and all other Genocides that followed - these artistic responses will serve as a call to stand up against current and future genocides.

On Friday, September 25, this exhibit will also feature guest speaker Scout Tufankjian, renowned photojournalist and bestselling author from New York.

Exhibition Hours Monday- Friday 10am to 5pm, Saturday 11am-4pm, Sunday 11am-6pm
