Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre Partners with Three Sisters Market for Indigenous Arts and Crafts Event this July.

Toronto, ON, July 12, 2024 - Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre is proud to announce its collaboration with Three Sisters Market to host a one-of-a-kind event celebrating Indigenous arts and crafts. Scheduled for July 24th, 2024, from 12pm to 5pm, this event aims to highlight Indigenous culture while supporting local artisans and their communities.

This initiative is part of Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre's commitment to Truth & Reconciliation in Canada, aligning with the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. The event will showcase a variety of traditional and contemporary artworks, including beadwork, paintings, sculptures, and handcrafted jewelry, all created by talented Indigenous artists.

"We are excited to partner with Three Sisters Market to bring this event to our community," said Corey Cheek, Sales & Marketing Director at Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre. "This is not just an opportunity to appreciate and purchase beautiful art but also a chance to support local Indigenous artisans and contribute to their sustainable economic development."

The event will feature interactive sessions where attendees can engage with artists, learn about their creative processes, and gain insights into Indigenous culture and traditions. Educational displays will also provide information on the significance of Indigenous arts and the principles of reconciliation.

We invite everyone to join us on July 24th to celebrate the richness of Indigenous culture and contribute to meaningful change. This event is an opportunity for our community to come together, learn, and support Indigenous artists.

Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre encourages Torontonians and visitors alike to attend this cultural celebration, connect with Indigenous heritage, and shop responsibly to support local vendors.
